Wednesday, September 12, 2018 — Valletta - GamerToken has announced today that it is joining the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA). As a member of the EEA, GamerToken will collaborate with industry leaders in pursuit of ethereum-based enterprise technology best practices, open standards and open-source reference architectures.

This news comes after GamerToken opened registration earlier this week for their upcoming Token Sale on September 27, hosted on the Token Foundry platform.

The EEA’s industry-focused, member-driven working groups are each tasked with creating and delivering specific advancements to the development and use of Ethereum-based technologies. Together, the EEA and GamerToken will be working with traditional game developers on solving the educational and technical challenges of deploying and using Ethereum technology such as non-fungible assets in the gaming industry.

“We are proud to become a member of the new EEA gaming work group. With the network built by the EEA we aim to explore new ways of utilizing the underlying technology and participate in cross-industry collaborations to create new opportunities.” - CEO of GamerToken Jens Knauber.

The EEA is an industry-supported, not-for-profit, established to build, promote and support Ethereum-based technology practices and standards. The EEA is helping to evolve Ethereum into an enterprise-grade technology, providing research and development in a range of areas. The EEA is also investigating hybrid architectures that span both permissioned and public Ethereum networks as well as industry-specific application layer working groups.

With more than 500 member companies, the EEA membership base represents a wide variety of business sectors from every region of the world, including technology, banking, government, healthcare, energy, pharmaceuticals, marketing, insurance and gaming.

Through collaboration, GamerToken and other EEA members hope to facilitate the type of groundbreaking change and mass adoption that would be unachievable in individual corporate silos.

Further information about the GamerToken token sale and registration process can be found here, and information about the project can be found on the GamerToken Medium blog as well as their website.

About GamerToken

GamerToken is an ERC20-compatible Ethereum-based utility token that will enable digital asset exchange on a universal marketplace and significantly improve in-game security, transparency, and cost of transactions. The use of the ERC-721 token standard allows the marketplace to be used with unique, non-fungible digital assets, giving gamers true ownership and increased security over their in-game items, independent from pre-existing in-game economies.
