Independent/casual game publisher, developer, and technology company GarageGames has announced that it is demonstrating new versions of its latest technology at Game Developers Conference (GDC) this week in San Jose.
GarageGames will showcase Legions, a technology demo for its Torque Shader Engine (TSE), the technology driving Marble Blast Ultra on Xbox 360 Live! Arcade, Mighty Fist, a demo built with Torque Game Builder (TGB), a professional grade 2D engine, and Torque Constructor, the CSG level builder created in Torque for level design with all map-based games.
"We're excited about bringing our latest technology to show off openly on the floor at GDC," said Mark Frohnmayer, President of GarageGames. "Our goal has always been to create great technology that is accessible to all game developers. This year with TSE on Xbox 360 the opportunities for developers continue to expand."
"Legions felt like a natural way to show off TSE with our expanded Atlas terrain, new water system and advanced materials management system," commented Timothy Aste, Legions producer.
