German-headquartered 3D game engine firm Trinigy has announced that it is collaborating with AI middleware firm Kynogon on a full integration of that company's Kynapse AI Solution into Trinigy's Vision Game Engine, which is available for PC, Xbox, and Xbox 360.
Kynogon's AI technology is used by a number of prominent game developers (Electronic Arts, Atari, Lionhead, Real Time Worlds, Ascaron...) as well as notable partners outside the gam business (EADS, British Aerospace)
"We are truly impressed with Kynogon's A.I. technology and are excited about having Kynapse A.I. integrated into the Vision Game Engine", says Felix Roeken, General Manager at Trinigy. "Thus, our customers can smoothly combine cutting-edge technology of both worlds in Vision's what-you-see-is-what-you-get workflow to create a unique, truly superior gaming experience."
Pierre Pontevia C.E.O. of Kynogon commented. "Vision offered us a full Game Engine featuring a complete set of impressive tools with an open yet powerful architecture. We are committed to complementing Vision with Kynapse A.I. solution to empower developers to deliver great games."
