Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in an exclusively compiled list.

This week brings Scribblenauts, Need for Speed Shift, and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story to North America, while Japan gets Ys Seven and a remake of Square Enix's SaGa 2.

5th Cell's Nintendo DS puzzler Scribblenauts will debut in the United States this week, arriving alongside anticipated multiplatform offerings like Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2, EA's racing franchise update Need for Speed: Shift, and a pair of NHL-licensed hockey sims from EA Sports and 2K.

This week will also bring the stateside premiere of Nintendo's DS RPG Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, along with PC ports for Resident Evil 5, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Red Faction: Guerrilla.

Namco Bandai's Katamari Damacy series sequel Katamari Forever gets an early English-language release in Europe this week, arriving several days in advance of its planned U.S. release date.

Gamers in Europe will also get an early look at Sony's PSP racer MotorStorm: Arctic Edge, while the PlayStation 3 and PS2 receive the UK-exclusive karaoke title SingStar: Motown.

Namco Bandai's formerly Xbox 360-exclusive RPG Tales of Vesperia comes to the PlayStation 3 in Japan this week, along with the real-time strategy sequel Tears to Tiara Gaiden: Avalon no Nazo and the Disgaea 3 expansion episode Raspberyl-hen Hajime Mashita.

Nintendo's Endless Ocean follow-up Forever Blue 2: Umi no Yobigoe and a localization of Sega's The House of the Dead: Overkill are set to arrive for the Nintendo Wii. Nintendo DS releases for this week include Square Enix's Final Fantasy Legend II remake SaGa 2: Hihou Densetsu - Goddess of Destiny, the music synthesizer software upgrade KORG DS-10 Plus, and Namco's [email protected] series spinoff title The [email protected]: Dearly Stars.

The PSP will also receive several anticipated releases in the coming week, including a port of Sega's adventure title 428: Fuusa Sareta Shibuya de, Konami's baseball franchise update Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu Portable 4, and Falcom's action-RPG sequel Ys Seven.
