I'm Mickael DELL'OVA, UX & Game designer and player identity specialist, I'm 37 years old and I am currently working Eve Online at CCP. I have a strong belief in what video games should be: A safe place for all, a refuge where everyone must be represented, be themselves, and enjoy the same quality of experience beyond their gender, their sex orientation, their culture, their social background or their physical and mental abilities... Video games, as a mass media, have a major impact on the world and if, like me, you consider it our responsibility to create a better world through video games, we must work together!

I have 15 years of experience in different fields like graphic and web design, ergonomics, accessibility, Game Design, UX design, Diversity & Inclusion... I see the ultimate user experience as a crossroads of all these topics. If I had to define what UX is, I would say, "This is how to deliver the best experience for everyone" and not just in an ergonomic way. UX represents the ultimate gaming experience and the logical evolution of Game Design, an ethical Game Design , where the human factor and therefore the player is placed at the center of the thinking.

I am innovative person and visionary designer with a thoughtful approach of leadership, I know how convince and gather people around a common direction. My dearest wish is to find open minded and innovative team and studio to evolve the vision of UX, as a transversal discipline that brings together different knowledge, putting the UX designer at the heart of the game design decisions with players as a pillar of the experience.

On a personal part and as Gay and ADHD person, I am involved in several French associations that fight for diversity and social equality as role model and speaker.
