Jennifer Bullard's Blog


Jennifer Bullard has been a designer and producer in the game industry since 1998. Her career started at New World Computing and has taken her to Austin, TX, where she now lives. Jennifer has been active in the Austin community, serving as IGDA-Austin President from 2009 to 2014. She also founded and ran the Captivate Conference for 2 years and is working on another iteration. Jennifer's focus has been on building a sustainable business and employment ecosystem. When people have less to worry about they can focus on building amazing and innovative experiences. Her college degrees were in Psychology and Labor Relations, providing a strong foundation for understanding industrial psycology. She has been leveraging this background ever since becoming a Producer and been using research to become a better communicator, team leader and person. Turns out Algebra teachers were right. What they left out was I'd have to build the formula without knowing all of the variables. This is an introduction to figuring out those variables and sales numbers to make a living.
