Hearthstone Director Ben Brode to Deliver PAX Dev 2018 Keynote

Brode, who recently co-founded independent studio Second Dinner, began his game industry career in 2003 as a tester in Blizzard’s QA department. In the ensuing years, Brode worked in production and design before leading development on Hearthstone, a free-to-play online card game based on the Warcraft series. Following its 2014 release for PC, Mac, iOS, and Android, Hearthstone has been praised by critics and fans alike while garnering more than 70 million players.
Founded in 2011, PAX Dev is among the industry’s leading events for developers to hone their craft. Taking place Aug. 28-29, 2018 at the Seattle Westin Hotel, PAX Dev provides a forum for industry professionals to learn, share, and debate with one another in a constructive environment.
In addition to the keynote, PAX Dev will feature a selection of other fantastic panels featuring prominent and knowledgeable luminaries.
