Heather Chandler's Blog   Expert Blogs

 

Heather Chandler is a game producer with 18 years of industry experience. She's shipped scores of titles at EA, Activision, Ubisoft, and a dozen other studios. Her games include Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield, Apocalypse, Civilization: Call to Power, Dark Reign: The Future of War, Heavy Gear II, Ghost Recon (and seven other games in the GR series), Star Trek Rivals, and the upcoming Never Alone and Robots Need Love Too.

She's also the author of The Game Production Handbook, The Game Localization Handbook, and Fundamentals of Game Development.  She has published numerous articles on game development and has lectured at the NLGD Festival of Games, Game Developers Conference, Future Play, North Carolina State University, and the Digital Game Expo. She graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University and earned an M.A. from the USC School of Cinema-Television.
