Imagine picking up your smart phone or tablet and entering an interactive
mystery as a detective on a murder scene. My team has been designing that
game experience with bestselling Vermonty mystery author and death investigator Archer Mayor. Archer just published his 23rd book in the Joe Gunther crime series, Paradise City.  As Joe Gunther’s protégé, in our game: Archer Mayor's The Lost Case Files, you must unravel a dastardly tale of back-stabbing, deceit, and revenge. No spoilers! Regardless, we hope that you will find this an exciting opportunity to introduce traditional media to a new interactive medium.

Over the summer we brought this idea of an episodic mobile gameplay closer to reality. We want to ensure the game is an honest view at real proper police procedure and a challenge for even the most seasoned detective gameplayer. We love input and ideas so I thought I would share this with the Gamasutra Community.

Our team includes game designers, programmers and artists but we have limited resources and in the grand scheme of things we are all still learning a lot. We admit that we are student but we are ambitious student. We do not have funding in place at this time for further development  and the liscense require so we have thrown the idea to Kickstarter. There is a lot more about the game at http://kck.st/PFsVrp
