Press Release

Stardrytch – Steam Playtest live now!

Stardrytch, a challenging action-platformer by solo game developer Nils Kastens, has taken its first steps towards release. An interested group of gamers has formed shortly after its reveal on social media in early August. Alpha Beta Gamer described the game as “… a fun looking old school action platforming adventure with an interesting setting and stylish hand drawn visuals”. JPGames tweets that the gameplay “looks juicy”. Further international online magazines, like Techgaming, took note and published articles about the game. The Linux Game Consortium asked if the game will be available for Linux.

Currently Nils Kastens focuses his full attention on the first Steam Playtest. The test has started on the 14th of September and will be ongoing until the 27th.. Soon after the test is concluded Stardrytch will take part in the upcoming Steam event “Steam Next Fest”. A public demo version of the game will be released on Steam on the 20th of September – everybody who is interested will be able to play it! The game itself will be released on the 4th of November.
