Dive in the Past by game development team 3D Research Srl based in Italy, has won the Fan Favorite voting round 18 at the Game Development World Championship 2021 (GDWC). The game is available on Google Play and Apple App Store.

Dive in the Past takes the player on a journey inside the underwater world, where modern and ancient wrecks and submerged cities lie. A magic diary hides a mystery to be discovered, and the Mediterranean Sea wrecks and ruins of ancient populations to explore. Hi-tech tools show how ships and cities looked in the past. Dive in the Past mixes the exploration with puzzles and quests.

2nd place went to Alisa by Casper Croes from Belgium. It is a classic late-90s style horror-themed action adventure set in a fantasy universe inspired by the 1920s. Alisa tries to find a way out of an old victorian mansion while being chased by materialized/mechanized doll-like humanoids.

3rd place was taken by The Lady Puppet by SEELE Games, also from Italy. It is a Survival Horror Adventure game with emphasis on atmosphere and exploration. It features light puzzle solving, stealth, and a "doll system" that lets players summon and control companions through the use of "dolls".

GDWC Team congratulates the Winners and thanks all voters and Nominees. Every week nine games are featured on the GDWC website in a public vote with the winner moving onto the Final vote. Find latest Nominees at https://thegdwc.com.
