SEOUL – May 28, 2020 – Adventurers and collectors face a new challenge starting today in Destiny Child, where strategic gameplay and courageous maneuvers are rewarded with valuable treasures. The latest content update for the hit action role-playing game adds a new boss, in-game rewards and more, and can be downloaded for free and experienced beginning today on both App Store and Google Play.

From now until Monday, June 8, the daunting World Boss Trial opens as the latest massive Boss Raid challenge. Players can call upon up to 20 characters to battle the World Boss for the chance to collect a myriad of in-game rewards, including Magic Mirror Fragments for every time the boss is defeated, and additional rewards for participating in the battle at least once a day or by completing the Trial Mission. Players can use Magic Mirror Fragments to purchase in-game items such as a 5★ Child, 5★ Soul Carta and more. The Magic Mirror Shop is open until Thursday, June 11.

Players who dive into the World Boss Trial Season 9 can also experience two new powerful Childs, who will appear throughout the trial. The Childs include 5★ Rider Kubaba, who is a Dark Type and Attacker Boost Child, along with 5★ Passionate Ruler Aurora King, who is a Light Type Defender Child.

In addition to the new World Boss Trial and Childs, players can celebrate today’s update with several in-game events, including:

  • Crystal Payback Event – From now until Thursday, June 11, players who purchase  any of the products from the Crystals Tab in the Shop will receive bonus Crystals. The additional Crystals will be distributed beginning at 5:00 a.m. (UTC+0) on Thursday, June 18
  • World Boss Highest Damage Event – From now until Monday, June 8, players will receive rewards based upon the goal damage they do to the World Boss in a single hit, with prizes being distributed after 5:00 a.m. (UTC+0) on Thursday, June 18
  • Demon Fiesta Event – From now until Thursday, June 11, daily quests are available to complete for bonus rewards such as a 5★ Child Summon Ticket and a 5★ Soul Carta Summon Ticket.

Since its launch in late 2018, Destiny Child has mesmerized audiences with gorgeously-rendered Live2D playable characters, all ready to be collected, customized and evolved. In this action-packed role-playing game (RPG), players must strategically select from several hundred-strong rosters of ‘Childs,’ and engage in player vs. player (PvP), Raid and World Boss combat to claim victory. All Childs boast unique powers and intriguing backstories, with beautiful cutscenes brought to live with legendary voice actors and actresses.
