May 27, 2020 - Altfuture released a major update to their open world train simulator Derail Valley, available now for Windows and all major PC VR headsets, on Steam and Oculus Store, to a 90%+ Steam rating.

Among many improvements and bug fixes the update named “Overhauled” includes a new locomotive, rewritten derailing, fully interactive chain couplers, sensitive HAZMAT cargo, revamped career building gameplay, new economy system, much improved locations and a lot more.

In Derail Valley you start as a train driver in a vast open world, where you are free to take contracts in industrial stations and complete freight deliveries to earn money. With this money you can service the borrowed trains and buy new licenses, advancing your career and unlocking new content, such as, for example, access to a steam locomotive.

Derail Valley brings innovation to the train simulator genre, from optional native VR support and detailed physical interactions in a free open world, to developing your career, dealing with paperwork and simulating massive realistic accidents and explosions.

Derail Valley Overhauled is available now on Steam and Oculus Store, for PC and all major PC VR headsets, rated 90% on Steam. Made by Altfuture, a 7-member team.
