Announcing The Life Cycle, A Podcast About the Future of Humanity

Berlin – 10/18/19 - Berlin-based entertainment and game studio, Klang, has announced the launch The Life Cycle, a new podcast set around the narrative themes of SEED, the studio's MMO Simulation and virtual world.

The Life Cycle is an offbeat journey that looks at Humanity's fate, talking along the way to some of the world's top innovators - and disruptors - about their thoughts and opinions.

The Life Cycle is intended not so much about developing SEED, but more about the issues, themes, and philosophical implications of the game itself. Focusing on the future of Humanity, tech, transhumanism, future politics, brain uploads, and life as we don't yet know it.

Throughout Season One, The Life Cycle features in-depth interviews with Bryan Johnson, Founder of Kernel; Harvard's Prof. Lawrence Lessig; Dr. Phil Kennedy, and more.

Episode One is live and can be listened to here: https://www.thelifecyclepodcast.com/episodes/2019/10/18/the-end

Subsequent episodes can be listened to via The Life Cycle website here, and by subscribing to The Life Cycle on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, and Stitcher.

About SEED

SEED is an online life-simulator where each player manages multiple characters. Set far in the future, players collaborate to rebuild society and create a new home in a vast world similar to earth. The simulation is persistent and continuous, meaning that when players go offline, their characters will continue to live their day-to-day lives within the simulation. SEED is made with Unity, and utilizes Improbable's SpatialOS, a cloud platform that allows SEED to simulate a world much larger, richer, and with more players than any single engine or server could. For more information about SEED, visit the project's website: www.seed-project.io.
