ComboStrike was founded more than ten years ago as a performance marketing agency under the ad2games brand – focused on user acquisition for PC gaming clients. Sensing an opportunity emerge in the marketplace four years ago, they created nevaly, an influencer marketing and talent management agency. In order to streamline the working processes for their clients, all marketing and promotional services were recently merged under the brand ComboStrike. As one of the leading agencies for gaming influencers nevaly will now concentrate completely on talent management, while ComboStrike will provide full-service marketing for gaming clients. Following this change, the previous corporate brand ad2games will no longer be used.

From their offices in Berlin (HQ), Shanghai and Los Angeles, ComboStrike serves game companies from all over the globe and helps them efficiently reach their target audience in the gaming market, one of the most competitive markets of the world. Available services range from strategy development and campaign planning to media bookings and event management. The consistent factor in all of these areas is ComboStrike’s performance marketing mindset: a focus on results tracking that allows them to measure the ROI of each of their actions. 

In the field of influencer marketing, ComboStrike will continue to work closely with its sister company nevaly, allowing them to effectively combine their marketing expertise and their knowledge of the target audience – as the name of the company suggests.

Not only the name changed, but also the investor structure. At the beginning of the year, 3TS, a leading growth stage tech investor and previous minority stakeholder, acquired ComboStrike’s remaining shares from the Berlin-based startup incubator Hitfox making them the majority shareholder of the company.
