The Nintendo Switch version simultaneously arms itself with a DLC. Gensokyo Defenders’ base game is 30% off on both platforms to celebrate the Steam launch until May 8.

The DLC includes three new stages, traps and playable characters: Toyosatomimi no Miko, an immortal hermit and Buddhist saint; Byakuren Hijiri, a peace-loving nun who wields her magic for good; and Yakumo Yukari, who can manipulate boundaries physical and intangible. It costs $6.99 and is available today for both Nintendo Switch and Steam.

Invite a friend to join the action in online co-op.

Now the added layer of strategic gameplay.”
