Munich, June 13, 2018 – Chimera Entertainment continues its quest for key hires to reinforce the team for their upcoming projects. Earlier this month, game design veteran Sebastian Bombera joined Chimera as their new Head of Game Design. Coming from Ubisoft Blue Byte, he brings more than 13 years of experience to the studio.

Sebastian started his career in the games industry by joining Related Designs in 2004 to work on the ANNO franchise. As designer on ANNO 1701 and 1404, he managed complex systems and interface mechanics that influenced following ANNO titles. Working in leading game design positions on ANNO 2070 and ANNO 2205, he developed new concepts and defining features for the series. Between 2012 and 2013, he was Lead Game Designer of the browser game Might and Magic Heroes Online, where he managed a mid-sized team on its mission to craft a high-quality f2p title with a long lifecycle.

“I’m happy to join Chimera and install my experience as a node for their designers and bond the team ties even more,” comments Sebastian. “We’re on the same page, sharing the sense for quality of games that players can enjoy for years. I’m keen to support their increased team and to keep the creative processes efficient.”

“Having Sebastian on board now is a key hire for us as our projects are growing substantially in terms of scope and production value. With his strong profile and his experience in leading and mentoring creatives he will fortify Chimera’s structure and help us to coach and develop our talents on the team,” comments Christian Kluckner, Managing & Operations Director at Chimera Entertainment. “Everybody here is delighted to have him on board and work with him on the company’s next chapter.”
