Among the Sleep has been a commercial success for the small Norwegian game company, Krillbite Studio, with now close to 200,000 copies sold. Among the Sleep is a first-person horror game where you play as a two year old child. The game has now gotten a complete work-over, and a new PC build of the game is now out for Steam, GoG and Humble.
The new features include an upgrade in the game engine, and the game now runs on Unity 5. This results in a smoother game experience, even on lower end computers.
You also get an option for surround sound, just in case you weren’t afraid of the monsters being behind you already.
If you are interested in game development, or want to get to know the developers of Among the Sleep better, the new build gives you the option to have a commentary track which gives you interesting tidbits about the development, and what is happening in the game.
The game started out as a college project and Among the Sleep was updated for its release on consoles. Among the Sleep was released on PlayStation 4 in December, and will be out on Xbox One this spring."
