GDC Austin, Monday 8th October - PlayJam, the world's leading TV Games

Network, announces the launch of an end-to-end tool-chain offering

developers a clear path to Adobe AIR®-enabled TV, Blu-ray and upgrader


Working in partnership with Adobe, PlayJam will build a games eco-system

that will provide Adobe's developer network with access to PlayJam's

Platform APIs delivering a comprehensive monetization and social tool-set

specifically designed to enhance, cross-promote and monetize games prior to

publishing globally via the PlayJam Games Network. 

Using PlayJam's SDK, developers are able to integrate global billing, CRM

and game servers to add features such as cross-network tournaments,

leaderboards and real-time mass participation events. In-game promotion,

virtual currencies and recommendation engines combine with a full analytics

suite to provide the richest environment to generate increased revenue and

customer loyalty on TV. 

Adobe AIR® for TV enables developers to build compelling 2D and 3D games

using GPU acceleration available on LG's range of Smart TVs. These games can

be built using tools and frameworks available from Adobe and from the Web.

Adobe AIR® and Adobe Flash® Stage3D based games may be quickly deployed to

the TV utilizing these developer tools.

The SDK will initially be made be made available to members of PlayJam's

closed Beta Developer Partner Program ahead of general release in December.
