Virtools, Studica Launch Student Game Competition

Virtools, Studica Launch Student Game Competition

October 6, 2005 | By Simon Carless

Virtools and Studica have announced the Virtools Game Development Competition, open to any student in North America, and in which students will compete for a top prize of $500 by creating a game with Virtools' game engine.

Full information is available at Studica's website, and contestants are to create a mini-game environment focused on presenting potential 'pitfalls' that first year students can expect to encounter.

A special limited-edition package has been built in relation to this competition, for those student who don't have access to the engine software, including a 3 months full student license of Virtools Dev 3.5 and learning materials (introductory video + tutorials on how to build a third person shooter game with Virtools from A to Z).
