Mobile game dev N3twork snaps up mobile marketing firm Agamemnon

Mobile game dev N3twork snaps up mobile marketing firm Agamemnon

July 18, 2017 | By Alex Wawro

The folks at mobile game company N3twork announced today that they've acquired mobile game business intelligence tool Agamemnon.

This is chiefly notable to mobile game devs who had an eye on Agamemnon, which mobile game industry vet Eric Seufert debuted earlier this year as a tool to help devs track and manage their user acquisition efforts.

The terms of the acquisition were not made public, but N3twork did confirm that Seufert will be joining the company to lead its "platform" business -- which is seemingly aimed at providing devs in the mobile game business more tools and services.

"Eric’s mandate at N3twork is to accelerate our platform effort," reads N3twork's blog post. "He’ll be leading this by creating products that aid the wider audience of developers and help them unlock the potential of their business by utilizing the systems & services that are helping games like Legendary grow and scale profitably."

Longtime Gamasutra readers will remember N3twork as the startup founded years ago by ex-Ngmoco folks like Neil Young and Alan Yu, initially as a mobile video app maker that later transitioned into focusing on mobile games. The company launched its first mobile game, Legendary - Game of Heroes, last year.
