We're mere weeks away from GDC Next 2014 featuring ADC, and as the conference draws nigh we'd like to take a moment to run down some of the notable sponsored sessions available to game industry professionals attending in November.

Of course, you can read the full list of GDC Next sponsored sessions from Intel, Gree, Mozilla and more on the conference Schedule Builder; today we're highlighting a few that developers may find particularly useful or informative.

For the second year running, GDC Next featuring ADC will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in downtown Los Angeles, California on November 3rd and 4th, 2014.

Solving the problem of discoverability on Google's app store

More and more games are being released every year across a splintering array of platforms and services, making discoverability a very real problem for new and established developers alike. Mobile app stores are especially hard places to get noticed; and while it's important to drive awareness of your game on storefronts like Google Play, you also want to reach the right kind of players.

To help you do that, Google is sponsoring a GDC Next session titled Find the Right Users, Find Success that will be led by Alex Valle (Google's Head of Global App Ads Sales and Strategy) and offer developers tools and advice to acquire customers in a sustainable, ethical way.

Wringing every ounce of performance out of Unity on Android

Of course, a key component of drumming up interest in your Google Play game is ensuring that it performs at top-tier levels across a variety of Android devices. With that in mind, Intel and Unity are teaming up to offer a helpful GDC Next sponsored session on the topic called Unity and Big Android: Getting the Most From Your Titles. Engineering experts from both companies will be on hand to lead attendees through the best ways to circumvent common bottlenecks and performance issues that affect Unity games on Android in an hour-long session that will be offered twice during the conference: once on Monday and once on Tuesday.

Walk through Intel's new tech with engineers and early adopters

Given that systems sporting Intel's RealSense gesture control and 3D scanning tech will be available soon, the company's code walkthrough presentation at GDC Next should be a handy resource for developers looking to get a jump on the platform.

During the Intel Realsense Technology Code Walkthrough, early adopters of the technology will discuss upcoming features they are putting into future applications using the RealSense systems. They'll also explain their approach to using the new capabilities, discuss their methods for implementation and discuss the code changes or new bits of code they're using to do it.

And conference organizers look forward to highlighting even more notable talks in the weeks before this year's GDC Next featuring ADC, which takes place November 3rd-4th, 2014 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
