The complete speaker line-up and a full schedule of sessions has been announced for the 2nd Annual London Game Career Fair, taking place October 23 - 24, 2007 at London's Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane.

The presenters include leading game industry journalists as well as highly placed professionals from key video game companies in Europe. The London Game Career Fair, co-produced by Gamasutra.com and Gamesindustry.biz, is the exclusive recruitment event of the London Games Festival, a series of events taking place across the city during the week of October 22.

A robust recruitment expo takes place alongside the career expo. Exhibitors include Electronic Arts, Blitz Games, City University of London, Escape Studios, FreeStyleGames, Juice Games, Kuju Entertainment, LucasArts, NCSoft, OPM, Other Ocean Interactive, Qantm College, Rare, Realtime Worlds, SEGA, Team17, Ubisoft, and the University College for the Creative Arts.

Amongst the speakers are Rare's Nick Burton on "A Career in Programming", SCEE's Dan Bardino on "A Career in Audio", Blitz's Rob Thompson on "Getting a Games Programming Job ... With No Experience" and Relentless's Jez Harris on "A Career in Game Design."

More than 1500 attendees are expected at the event, where both existing members of the industry and those looking to break into the business will find a chance to meet with companies and learn from experienced industry speakers.

"We are excited to have secured the participation and support of many of Europe's leading video game professionals and journalists, all of them dedicated to helping aspiring video game professionals break into the industry," said Simon Carless, Publisher, Gamasutra.com. "This year's event is shaping up to be more popular than ever and we're looking forward to providing a destination that will help foster new partnerships."

The goal for this year's summit is to raise the caliber of the event by attracting qualified attendees as well as recent graduates to network with the world's top game development companies and to enhance their career strategies, drawing on the reach of the leading games industry websites.
