Kyle Worrall's Blog
Kyle Worrall is a freelance Composer and a PhD researcher with the Centre for Doctoral Training in Intelligent Games and Games Intelligence in the UK. As of 2020, Kyle is researching procedural music systems for video games and is investigating ways of improving the expressive or musical quality of generated content. Kyle is also researching composition workflow and working to model a framework for developing third party tools that can assist composers without affecting their productivity in a negative way.
Kyle previously studied an MSc in Sound and Music for Interactive Games and a BA (Hons) in Creative Music Production, and has worked as a professional session musician on world cruises, in live music as an engineer and in studios as a mixing engineer.
Kyle's passions are writing music for games, reading good books and building a Youtube channel that covers all areas of video game music integration and design.
