Karsten Lund's Blog

I've been making games for as long as I can remember, but my game development career started with the Genesis sci-fi shooter: Sub-Terrania in 1993.

Since then, I've been making all kinds of video games, art, design, and animation. I ventured back into the AAA gaming industry in 2000 with IO interactive.

I’ve been part of the creative process of most of the games made there, going from lead animator to game director.

Working as a game director is unique opportunity to combine all the creative disciplines that I love. I live for the moment when game design and art comes to life and moves the audience emotionally.

January 2012 I was given the unique opportunity to relocate to Montréal and be part of building a new studio from scratch. I’m super excited about being able contribute to a new creative culture and to learn so much from so many talented people.
