New Substantial Summer Update for Kickstarter-funded J-RPG tribute Edge of Eternity
After a first substantial summer update in July, developer Midgar Studio and video game publisher Playdius are back to share even more great content for Edge of Eternity, the crowdfunded tribute to JRPGs that raised over $161,000 dollars from Kickstarter fans worldwide. The combat system called Nexus Grid gets more and more precise, as we learn that the environment can affect the progress of a fight. Players can also dive even deeper into the colossal lore of the game with a focus on weapons and crystals customization. Furthermore, this update is another great opportunity to take a look at Edge of Eternity’s astonishing visuals, with new screenshots to contemplate. As mentioned in the previous update, this is only another sneak peek in what Midgar Studio and Playdius have planned for announcements at this year’s Gamescom. The latest PC build of Edge of Eternity will be exclusively showcased at Playdius’ booth, including major new features for previews. More information will be unveiled at this event, so stay tuned!
In the meantime, we encourage you to keep an eye on official Edge of Eternity channels as new screenshots will be coming soon to Facebook and Twitter. Fans are also invited to join the official Discord channel, where the Midgar Studio team is very active.
