  LIVERPOOL HAILED TOP TECH CITY IN UK

A new survey has hailed Liverpool as the UK’s top tech city, pushing London into third place behind Cardiff. In a poll of 1,000 people carried out by Gadget Show Live (3-7 April, NEC), Scousers own on average 40 gadgets, one more than the residents of the Welsh capital and three more than Londoners.

The Scots fared poorly with Glasgow and Edinburgh taking 8 th and 9 th place in the top 10, hovering just above Geordies who own a mere 15 pieces of tech. Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Belfast sit above them with 32, 30, 27 and 26 gadgets to their names.
