Selected by our fans; The Chosen Bundle from Indie Royale is a
second chance to get the games from last year's popular St.
Patrick's Day Bundle. Over 1500 people voted with St. Patrick's
winning in a close vote over The Difficult Second Bundle. The poll
was run on Twitter, our Facebook and Google+ pages.
Leading the Chosen Bundle is
Hard Reset from Poland's Flying Wild Hog. Hard
Reset is an action-packed, single-player shooter for the PC. Set in
a cyberpunk city, Hard Reset emphasizes over-the-top destruction
and gives you a huge variety of weapons to dispatch hordes of
enemies. The Extended Edition is available from Steam or the
regular game is on Desura & DRM-Free. You also get an artbook
and the OST (mp3 & FLAC). The Extended Edition was released in
July 2012 and is different to the version in the original St.
Patrick's Day Bundle. Kotaku called Hard Reset "a sexy, cyberpunk
shooter".
Next in the line-up of the Chosen Bundle is original 2D point
and click adventure
Jolly Rover (PC+Mac, from Steam, Desura &
DRM-Free + OST)
from Australia's Brawsome. Players follow the
short and stubby tail of its canine protagonist across three wild
and untamed tropical islands as he attempts to fulfil his dream of
starting a circus. GameSpot reviewed it with the comment that
"Jolly Rover is a swashbuckling canine adventure full of colourful
characters and plenty of laughs."
Vertex Dispenser (PC+Mac from Steam + Vertex
Vortex Remix & Boss Fight DLCs) comes
from one man game maker Michael Brough in the UK
and is a fast-paced abstract strategy game with mathematical puzzle
elements.
The last two games in this bundle are
DLC Quest (PC+Mac, Desura & DRM-Free) and
Lair Of The Evildoer (PC, Desura & DRM-Free)
from Canada's Going Loud Studios, available for
Windows from Desura & DRM-free with a Mac version too. With DLC
Quest, the developer has made a game that mocks the games industry
and its foibles whilst Lair Of The Evildoer is an RPG shooter which
sees you escaping from Dr. Odious's evil doing lair!
Those who pay $8 USD or their currency equivalent during the
Chosen Bundle will get
Daniel Capo's O?.?S?.?T: Original Soundtrack in
MP3 and FLAC format.
You can find more information on the Chosen Bundle, including
real-time statistics and its current price, on its

lower the price) so that you'll have hours of specially chosen
indie gaming to look forward to!
