Based in Dublin, Ireland Giant Oak Studios is a husband and wife
development team David and Kanako McDermott formed in 2012.
David McDermott Art, design, and Programming
David is a seasoned games professional, who has been working as
a 3D artist, animator and Designer since 1999. Originally from
Dublin he has worked in the UK, Australia and Japan on a wide
variety of console titles (
listed here) this is his first independent project.
Kanako McDermott Music, Design and Q/A
From Kobe, Japan Kanako has a background in education and music.
Kanako is tackling the heroic challenge of a new country, language,
