Electronic Theatre (
http://electronictheatre.co.uk) has today
announced the 10
th anniversary celebrations of the UK based videogames
specialist publication with an array of new features. Beginning
today with the launch of a redesign, a series of enticing new
features are scheduled for the coming weeks.
Established in 2003, Electronic Theatre has become a well
recognised brand in videogames specialist media over the last
decade receiving over 500,000 unique visitors per month. Delivering
news, reviews and exclusive features aimed directly at the UK
audience on a daily basis, Electronic Theatre has built a large
community always eager to take on board the latest and greatest
videogaming has to offer. In order to encourage this, the
Electronic Theatre redesign incorporates the return of many
fan-favourite features, such as Friends Lists and the long awaited
return of the fully-moderated forums.
The launch of the new Electronic Theatre will be accompanied by
plenty of new content, from competitions to the exclusive Industry
Blogs; regular columns from journalists and industry
representatives from all corners of the industry. These Industry
Blogs begin today with new series from Rising Star Games’ Yen
Hau and freelance writer Alex Lemcovich. Yen will offer a unique
perspective on the addictive world of MMO gaming while Alex offers
his opinion of some of the biggest advances videogames have made in
recent times.
In addition to the brand new face of Electronic Theatre a new
project arrives today, aimed at a niche audience. Metro Gaming (
http://metrogaming.co.uk) is a brand new website
from the team at Electronic Theatre aimed at the core Xbox gamer,
covering Xbox 360, Windows 8 and Windows Phone platforms as well as
the Xbox LIVE service. Live now, Metro Gaming will become a
mainstay of the Xbox gamer’s online library as it delivers
all the latest news and reviews for Metro devices.
Both the new Electronic Theatre and Metro Gaming are both live
today, with more exclusive features coming over the next few weeks.
