FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Los Angeles, CA (TSG) January 16, 2012

Actor and voice over artist, D.C. Douglas, has released a video in support of Gamers For Sandy Hook.  Douglas, who is best known to gamers as the voice of Albert Wesker in the "Resident Evil" franchise and Legion in the "Mass Effect" franchise, hopes to motivate fans of his characters to rally enough donations to surpass the $5000 goal of the charity drive.

Douglas joins fellow voice over actors Mark Meer, Kate Drummond, and Elias Toufexis as supporters of GamersForSandyHook.org.

GamersForSandyHook.org explains who they are this way:

"We are not affiliated with any company or organization. We are a grassroots organization fueled by our own individual hearts and pockets. With that said, G4SH isNOT a platform that aims to make a statement about video games, violence, and guns. We all came together for one reason only: to lend a helping hand. We are raising funds for The Sandy Hook PTA Organization. We are currently using Razoo to collect and keep track of the funds we raised. However, we do not handle the money being donated since it directly goes the Sandy Hook PTA."

Visit http://www.dcdouglas.com/gamers-sandy-hook-promise/ to view the video and read more about Douglas' reasons for joining the cause.
