DATE 7 th January 2013:, the UK’s number one digital social world for kids, has announced the release of two new iOS apps. The apps will add to the growing digital footprint of the popular BAFTA-winning kids’ brand, which has over 17 million registered users in the UK alone.

Tink’s Blocks is an engaging race-against-the-clock app game inspired by the successful online game on, which has already had over 3 million gameplays this year.

Hosted by popular Bin Weevils character Tink, Tink’s Blocks is an exciting 12-level game, where players have to clear blocks from their screen while playing against the clock. An additional challenge after each level requires players to group blocks together using as few moves as possible to earn extra points.

Players are rewarded with mulch (virtual currency) and XP (experience points) on completion of each level, redeemable on They can also collect up to three exclusive Bin Bots – collectible mini avatars – which to date have only been available within the digital social world.

To further enhance the synergy between the online and app games, players can upload their Tinks Blocks scores to an online leaderboard on, seeing how they rank against their Bin Buddies and within the wider Bin Weevils universe.

Meet the Bin Weevils app is the indispensable guide to Bin Weevils for all fans of the popular digital social world. Featuring 12 families and over 80 characters, fans can find out all about their favourite Bin Weevil characters, including all members of their family, their funniest moment, their three favourite pictures and who their favourite Bin Buddies are.

Debuting on Meet the Bin Weevils is a never-before-seen 7 minutes animated episode guest starring popular character Fling, as well as 12 other animated shorts. With a host of custom-made hilarious new info about all their favourite Bin Weevil characters, Meet the Bin Weevils is set to delight the brand’s ever-increasing fan base.
