NGames Reveals New MMOG Starring a Famous Foxy Friend

[This unedited press release is made available courtesy of Gamasutra and its partnership with notable game PR-related resource GamesPress.]

NGames, a leading online games publisher, has today announced a brand new, currently untitled MMO for 2013 inspired by the cute world of popular instant messaging emoticon, Foxli.

Publisher NGames has revealed a new upcoming adventure MMORPG inspired by Foxli's world and back story.

Foxli's world is both cute and teetering on the edge of peril. Thousands of years ago, an evil dragon wrecked havoc across the land. Foxli's ancestors sacrificed themselves to seal the dragon under a powerful spell, locking him away for eternity - or so they thought. The dragon has broken free and now it is up to red fox Foxli, his pink friend Peach, and their (no doubt multi-coloured) friends to continue his family's legacy by defeating the dragon and armies of enchanted monsters ruining the lands. They'll need to rebuild their homes too.

The upcoming, currently untitled game promises exquisite graphics with unique building models, cute characters, and an array of dazzling skills and special effects. A deep and tactically robust combat system offers players multiple fight modes, whether it's completing quests; pursuing expeditions to become a great General; or simply challenging friends to a bout of fisticuffs for honour.

A full-fledged home development system will give players a plethora of options for customising their humble abodes. Meanwhile, friends can band together and visit each others homes, enjoy harvesting expeditions, tackle unique challenges and events, and more.

NGames has also released a first video of Foxli in action, which sees him carrying the Christmas cheer into 2013: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTDsMXu1P7I

More information will be released in the run up to the games beta later this year.
