The development of Expeditions: Conquistador continues
following the first successful Kickstarter financing in September
2012: first stretch goal implemented, new animations, larger
developer team, new UI, backers’ forum, brand-new Facebook
fan page and invitation to vote on Steam Greenlight
Copenhagen, Denmark; December 20 2012 –
Thanks to the successful crowdfunding financing through Kickstarter
in September 2012, the Danish indie developer Logic Artists is
working all out on the completion of their PC game Expeditions:
Conquistador. In the tactical RPG, players take on the role of a
Spanish conquistador and must prove both their diplomatic and
strategic skills. Two complete campaigns, 100 random events, ten
character classes, 28 characteristic weapons, and a variety of
character skills will be finished in time for the release in late
February 2013.

In particular in the last three months, the visuals in
Expeditions: Conquistador have been revised and user interface has
been redesigned. With the addition of two new developers to the
team, all of the animations from the first alpha version were able
to be improved or replaced by new animations which look
significantly better, especially in combat situations. In addition,
the frequently requested passive companion skills will be included
in the release, although they were only planned as a stretch goal
and the funding goal for them was missed by just under $ 2000.
A second alpha version of the game is already for supporters of
the project in the official backers’ forum, where some 300
actively discuss with the developer team and test. As of now, all
news will also be shared with all fans on the brand-new Facebook
page for
Expeditions: Conquistador.
Discussions and comments on the current status of the project are
welcome.
