Farnborough, Hampshire, UK – December 11
th 2012
After weeks of riddles, puzzles and cryptic videos nDreams is
pleased to announce that Xi: Continuum, the sequel to the 2009
console-based alternate reality game Xi, which had over 600,000
unique players, will be released on 12
th December 2012 on PlayStation®Home.
Xi: Continuum offers a genuinely unique PlayStation®
experience that will see players unravel the story through
PlayStation®Home, external websites, live action videos and the
real world.
Unlike the original Xi you can play through Xi: Continuum live
at the same time as thousands of other players with new content
unlocking each day or, if you miss a couple of days or fancy
playing it later on you can play at your own pace.
Patrick O’Luanaigh, CEO of nDreams said, “We're
incredibly excited about the launch of Xi: Continuum. It's a very
unique experience, and a game I'm proud of. We have been planning
and building this game for almost a year and I'm looking forward to
seeing the reaction from players, and hopefully building and
evolving Xi based on feedback from the playing
community.”
