Numerous reports suggest that 8BitBoy is much too hard for modern gamers, and that made me realize that todays gamers are much weaker than in the olden days.  I have thought long and hard about what can be done about this fact.

That's why I now can present you with 'Kiddy-mode'. The new mode for the weakest of gamers. Kiddy-mode autosaves your progress in the end of each level. This makes 8BitBoy much easier to complete for even the tiniest of weaklings out there.

For the rest of us that grew up in the eighties, there is 'Retro-mode'. This is for the real gamers who knows that you have to get your hands dirty to actually win something. Even if that means you have to play the same part over and over again - until you suddenly beat the game. This feeling is awesome and I think gamers today have forgotten how it feels to beat the game.

When you try out 8BitBoy - promise that you'll be a true gamer and choose 'Retro-mode'. The rest of you can choose 'Kiddy-mode' and I will not thin less of you. (that's a lie).
