Neowiz, SmileGate, More License Trinigy’s Vision Engine 8 For MMO Titles

Trinigy, a 3D engine provider with offices in Germany and Austin, TX, announced seven new licensing deals for its Vision Engine 8 with six studios across South Korea, China, and Vietnam.

Neowiz, developer of MMO shooter DIZZEL, licensed the Vision Engine 8 for two unnamed MMO projects, and My New Children, a subsidiary of Cross Fire developer SmileGate, plans to use the engine for its own unnamed MMO project.

Other licensees include Chinese developer Nsid for an upcoming martial arts MMO, and Aurogon Games, FPT Online, and Nano Play for unannounced titles.

A number of European studios have also licensed the Vision Engine 8, which supports PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii, and features a browser plug-in called WebVision that enables developers to make 2D or 3D browser-based games. Trinigy says it has signed over 125 licensees for the engine to date.

“We’re extremely excited about these new deals in Asia, all of which re-affirm our strategy of organic expansion,” said Felix Roeken, general manager at Trinigy, who said the company's focus on prioritizing flexibility and customer service has broadened its appeal in Korea and other global markets.
