With less than 10 days before GDC China 2013 kicks off, organizers are highlighting sessions on Plants vs. Zombies 2's (pictured) successful Chinese launch and Kabam's tips for Chinese mobile game developers to succeed in the West, along with the finalized Session Schedule.

UBM Tech Game Network's GDC China, now in its sixth year, has moved up to September this year, running from the 15th to the 17th at the Shanghai International Convention Center in Shanghai, China. The event will be co-located with Cloud Connect China.

As part of the full line-up of announced sessions for the event, the following talks are being highlighted by organizers:

In 'Made In China: How to Develop a Mobile Game for a Western Audience by Chinese Team,' Jason Sun, senior producer at Kabam (Camelot: Battle For The North, The Hobbit: Kingdoms of the Middle Earth) will discuss how to overcome the big challenge for Chinese developers to make appealing mobile games for Western audiences.

In 'From One Year to One Day,' steersman of PopCap China and executive game designer Duncan will reveal the secrets behind the scenes of how Western game Plants vs. Zombies 2 was made to be a success in China, and why China was chosen as the launch territory.

Those who plan on attending GDC China 2013 can save time by registering online before the conference commences on September 15. Once registered, attendees can maximize their three days at GDC China by referencing the online Session Schedule available in PDF format.
