Valve has made its Steamworks SDK and accompanying documentation available to developers, as the company looks to broaden access to its Steamworks features.
In an announcement made on the official Greenlight forums, and as reported by
IndieStatik, developers can now access the SDK through the Steamworks development website.
This allows any developer to evaluate potential Steamworks integration for their games, including the ability to compile the code and perform limited testing of the functionality.
Valve stressed that any developer that wants to fully integrate Steamworks into a game must first be Greenlit through the Steam Greenlight process.
Those developers interested should sign in at the Steam Partners website
, and agree to the SDK access agreement.
