Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list.

This week brings Aliens: Colonial Marines to North America and Europe, while Japan gets Ginga Force and Lollipop Chainsaw: Valentine Edition.

The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending February 16th, 2013.

Games Released in the United States:

Gearbox Software's sci-fi first-person shooter Aliens: Colonial Marines debuts for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC this week, boasting an in-depth character customization system, a cooperative campaign for up to four players, and a variety of online competitive multiplayer modes. A Wii U version is slated for release next month.

Other titles arriving this week include Nintendo's 3DS brain training title Brain Age: Concentration Training, Kalypso's turn-based simulation game Omerta: City of Gangsters, and a PS Vita port of Ratloop's Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken.

Games Released in Europe:

Enigma's historical turn-based strategy title History: Legends of War (released stateside last year as History Legends of War: Patton) joins Aliens: Colonial Marines on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this week in Europe.

Games Released in Japan:

An expanded version of Grasshopper Manufacture's Lollipop Chainsaw ships for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Japan this week, while 360 owners can also look forward to Ginga Force, an arcade-style shoot-'em-up from the creators of the acclaimed Eschatos.

Portable highlights include Namco Bandai's 3DS RPG Magi: Hajimari no Meikyuu, Tecmo Koei's PSP visual novel Harukanaru Toki no Naka de: Hachiyoushou, and a localization of WayForward's PS Vita dungeon crawler Silent Hill: Book of Memories.

So it is true that A:CM has been delayed for Wii U... Gamestop assured me 3 times that it was coming out on the same day for Wii U.

Looking at the ratings of the game, this time, the delay seems to be something to be happy about, it prevented me from buying the game on day one, without knowing about it's numerous flaws.
