Newsbrief: A team of former Naughty Dog, Ubisoft and Sony veterans has started a new mobile games studio, and today launched its first free-to-play title for iOS.

Mojaro is led by CEO and co-founder Laurent Ancessi, previously senior technical director at Electronic Arts, director of production technology at Radical Entertainment and senior software engineer at Naughty Dog.

Other Mojaro members include technical director Rick Lamb, previously of Ubisoft, Naughty Dog and Acclaim, and advisory board member Louis Castle, co-founder of Westwood Studios.

Starting with KnightScape on iOS, Mojaro plans to create a mobile platform, with more upcoming mobile games set to be revealed in the coming weeks.
