Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list.

This week brings Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault and Under Defeat HD to North America, while Europe gets Far Cry 3 and New Super Mario Bros. U.

The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending December 1st, 2012.

Games Released in the United States:

A trio of classic arcade titles from Sega headlines this week's multiplatform digital release lineup, as the developer's Model 2 fighting games Fighting Vipers, Virtua Fighter 2, and Sonic the Fighters are set to receive upgraded ports for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

A remastered version of G.rev's Dreamcast-era shoot-'em-up Under Defeat ships to retail this week for the PlayStation 3, meanwhile, arriving alongside Insomniac's Ratchet & Clank series sequel Full Frontal Assault.

Ubisoft Montreal's anticipated open-world first-person shooter Far Cry 3 makes its worldwide debut in Europe this week for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC platforms. A North American release is scheduled for next week.

Nintendo's Wii U console also premieres in Europe this week, accompanied by launch titles like Nintendo Land, ZombiU, and New Super Mario Bros. U.

The Vita version of Ratchet & Clank got delayed to early next year.

Really? Doh... guess I might send this back to Amazon then and wait until the Vita version comes out to rebuy it... I bought it because I just got a PSP Vita over the weekend.
