Newsbrief: Cory Barlog, previously game director at Sony's Santa Monica studio and the lead on
God of War II, has joined
Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics.
Barlog originally left the Sony studio back in 2007, and has since worked as a writer at SCEA. He is currently also providing consulting services on a new
Mad Max game, alongside director George Miller and
former Team Bondi founder Brendan McNamara.
In his new role, he will be helping out with Crystal Dynamics'
Tomb Raider reboot, while also working on an unannounced title.
