There were some very lively discussions about how suits & geeks DON'T get along at most companies, but it seems that more and more companies are involving marketing & sales at the early stages of product development. This can have the effect of reducing overall tension between the two camps, since both are then pursuing the same goals.

In the end, it seems the never-ending conflict between development and marketing will continue forever. Many people have just resigned themselves to one camp or another and moved on. It's too bad, really, because it takes only a little effort from both sides to understand the whole process.
