Senior Core and Framework Programmer, Epic Games

As a senior programmer at Epic Games, Nick Whiting has helped shipped titles in the blockbuster "Gears of War" series, including "Gears of War 3" and "Gears of War: Judgment." Nick also works closely with Epic's award-winning Unreal Engine technology and is currently overseeing the development of Unreal Engine 4's Blueprint visual scripting system.

 Previously, Nick worked as a contributor to the Army Game Project on "America's Army 2" and "America's Army 3." Nick graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder where he earned his Bachelor of Science in electrical and computer engineering as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese language and linguistics.

I 'd love to see someone try hooking up some sort of body mapping I think the biggest technical challenge with this would be minimizing the latency. There 's a lot of processing that needs to happen for positional sensors like that, which would really start to add up. r ...
