Hi, the name is Joy Zimba- sometimes I run around by the handle 'A-Frique'. I am a film school graduate who did some Internet Marketing along the way, an amateur Digital Artist and Co-President of Z-Stylofox Labs, an indie game development company based in South Africa. We are currently working on our flagship indie game due to be released by Dec 2012.
I am a fan of niche indie and casual games with a strong love for Japanese RPGs currently Final Fantasy and Persona 4 are by the console. Fighting games a la Tekken, Soul Calibur and Mortal Kombat are also personal favourites.
Although I may not have played 'place game name here' - I have probably watched it over someone's shoulder analysing the pros and cons of its design and mechanics. I also enjoy reading Game development related books.
When I am not making or playing games...
Funny, don't remember the last time I was doing something non-gaming related.
Ah, I was watching copious amounts of anime... as a reference for character designs for the game.
