Benjy Davo's Blog

Hello I am a former modder who has worked on many levels for TFC, Day of Defeat, Jedi Outcast etc. I also did some freelance artwork for a bunch of fairly unfashionable games in the middle of last decade and did a brief stint at Codemasters but left due to lack of work life balance.

I now work for a non gaming software company in England and quite happy to play games in my spare time and cheer from the sidelines.

I don 't mean to ...

I don 't mean to be a doom monger but I sense 2014 is going to be a tough one for job losses. Crytek are teetering on the brink, with 800 staff. Capcom are looking for a buyer and they have 2000 staff. Some job losses expected in games division ...

Indeed and I think what ...

Indeed and I think what is different between those early products is that there was a novelty too it all, which is no longer the case. Additionally they were for the most part amateurs or just less famous than Cliff. Where as clearly Cliff does have baggage with the gaming ...
